YACHT RACE

(PROPOSED ROUND N.Z. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. An interesting yacht race is promised if the Atelbourne boat Oimara crosses the Tasman in January. J. , AlcLean, owner of the Wellington 36 feet yacht, Restless, announced he is willing to meet the Australian boat in a circuit of New Zealand if the more ambitious race from Wellington to Australia cannot ibe arranged.

McLean’s suggeston is that any race arranged should be a pure sporting event without professional skippers.
