WATERSIDER’S COMPENSATION.

WELLINGTON, November 18
His Honour, Justice Reed, delivered judgment to-day in the case in which a jury awarded Nicholas Hefferon, a watorsidcr, £260 damages, £BS loss of wages, and £37/16/- from the Crown, owing to injuries received at the hands of a Railway Department lorry driver. His Honour concurred with the jury’s findings.
