In most instances the smaller banks have; been affected by the closure of. large institutions with which they, are associated. The difficulties of many of the banks seam to be due to the reaction of the banking trouble at Nashville, cabled on November 13th.

To-day closures are reported of thirty-five Arkansas institutions, two in Illinois, and four in Missouri, and also six Kentucky institutions, and it is announced that they will remain dosed until the flood of unnecessary heavy withdrawals , tends to cease.
