ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. ■ Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: At yesterday’s sale at the above yards there was a good attendance of buyers, when we submitted 41 lu-ad of fat cattle and 40 fat sheep to public competition. Pribek for fat cattle were somewhat easier than at p'cvious sale; good ox and heifer beef gold front 45s to 48s per hundred and cow beef from 40s to 45s ’per hundred.

We sold as follows:—On account of W. R. Adamson 30 fat sheep at 20s, 10 at 12s 6d; on account of It. .Ritchie 1 cow at £l2 12a Gd; on account of W. A, Jamieson 2 bullocks at £ls 7 H 6d, 1 cow at '£l3 7s 6d, 2 at £l3 10s, 2 at £l3 2s (id, 2 at £ll 15s, 1 at £l3 2s 6d, .2 at £ll, 2 heifers at £7 12s Gd, 1 at £10; on account of P. J. Sim 1 cow at £ls 17s 6d; on account of Jno. Rea 1 cow at £lO 12s Gd; on account of a client 1 vealer at £1 17s Gd; on account of F. G. Williams and Sons 2 heifers at £l2, 2 at £l2 17s Gd. 2 at £ll 12b 6d, 1 at £ll 2s Dl, 2 bullocks at £l6 12s Gd, 2 at £l4. 2 at £l4 2s 6d, 1 at £l4 15s, 2 at £l3 15s; on account of Gluts.
