WELLINGTON, Nov. 17
Shot in the right knee through the accidental discharge of Ids companion’s rifle, \Y. R. Olapliam had ro be carried several/ miles down the (Uongorongos before reaching an ambulance yesterday morning.
Clnplinm, with several others, was pig shooting when one of the party's rifle was discharged accidentally, the bullet entering the leg behind and coming out through the knee cap. lie was placed on an improvised stretcher, and carried through, the hush to tht‘ nenresl road when* lie was picked up hv an ambulance.
