CRICKET.
WEST INDIES TEAM. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 14. The West Indies cricketers arrived at ten and sailed at eleven for Sydney. They were much interested in meeting the veteran S. G. Smith whom they described as one of the finest crjcketers the West Indies ever produced. The captain G. C. Grant said: —“I am keen to play three or four matches in New Zealand after the Australian tour but it seemed unlikely that suitable arrangements could he made.”
