UNIQUE PHONE CALL. MELBOURNE, 'November 11. A unique telephone conversation has just been carried out. It appears that Mr Scullin, Australian Prime Minister, in London, phoned to Mr Lyons (Federal Treasurer) who was on the Melbourne express. The train was stopped at the small station of Nubba, near Harden. Hon Mr Lyons was awakened at three o’clock in the morning, and he went to the ’phone on, tile station, and chatted with Mr Scullin. The Union officials state that the strike may last for months, in wb event a meat shortage will become serious. Tt is officially stated that the Sydney cold storage supply will last for one month.
