At the Sydney Stadium, Tuzzolini, of America, ll.lt, was awarded the verdict over Pearce, of Australia, 11.11. This was a sensational result in the last round of their filteen round bout. The Newcastle lad forced tin' fighting most of the way. He (Implied the American in the fourth round with a right swing to the jaw, am! lie piled up points lilt the fourteenth round. Then a left hook sent Tuzzolini down for a count, of nine. The American, though he was shaken, was game, and two minutes before time, Tu/.zolini floored Pearce with a short ritrhi, cross. The Australian, apparently, did not hear the referee, who when he rose had counted him out.
