THE INDIAN PRINCES. RE\DY FOR CONFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 5. In the State dining-room in Buckingham Palace, the King-Emperor, accompanied by the Queen, entertained at a banquet the Indian rulin' princes and chiefs who have, come to London to attend the Round-1 abb Conference*. The scene was a magnificent. one. thp Princes being attired in their robes of ceremony.
The guests, who numbered filty, inoltided, in addition to The, Indian Princes, the Queen of Spain, the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of York and other members of the Royal Family. An informal meeting of the BritishTnd’an delegation ito the conference was held at St. James’s • Palace to day, the Agi Khan presiding. Commander Wedgwood Benn, Secretary of State for India, ,addressed the meeting, and at his suggestion seven members were selected to confer with representatives of the other delegations, and with the Secretary of State, regarding eg/iida and procedure at the Conference.
