TASMAN RACE POSTPONED

(Received this day at 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November 5.

Mr F. J. Bennett, owner of tlie yacht “Oimara”, received a cablegram from New Zealand intimating the yacht “Yvonne” and “Thelma” had been declared by the Canterbury Yachting Association as unsuitable for the Tasman Sea Race which is -being postponed pending the building of approved yachts. Mr Bennett states he will probahly sail his yacht to New Zealand at the end of the year.
