SERIOUS DUST TROUBLE.

Sydney citizens have sweltered for the past twenty-four hours. Last night was the hottest night for the past sixteen years. The temperature a ten o’clock was eighty-one degrees. Again this morning, the city was experiencing a fierce sun and a. hot wind. The temperature at nine o’clock was eighty-nine degrees, and it remained in the- eighties all day.,;!-.
High temperatures and blinding dust were experienced in South Australia and Victoria yesterday,, with storms at night, and an atmosphere heavily charged with dust, . which spoiled clothing, and did considerable damage to property.
