A message from Nantes states the Papanui bound from Port Pirie to Avonmouth, collided with a lighter and two tugs at St. Nazaire docks. The steamer was undamaged, but the tugs were slightly, and the lighter seriously, damaged. The Papanui was about to sail to-day when the owners of the tugs and lighter demanded one hundred thousand francs. This was not provided, though the agent offered bis personal guarantee, pending an arrangement with the underwriters. The vessel was therefore arrested,
