The death has occurred of Dr E. M. Brissenden, K.C., aged seventy-seven, after a brief illness. He was one of the 'most popular, and probably the most picturesque figure, of the. New South Wales Bar, being a natural humorist. He threw up a large and lucrative practice in 1916 and went to the war as a private. He became courts martial and liaison officer. He declined a seat on the Supreme Court Bench last year.
SYDNEY, November 2. The dead body of Frank Dillon Bell, aged seventy, a well known membei of a city wool firm, was discovered .on the harbour foreshore at Mosmaif with a bullet wound in the temple. A revolver lay near the body. The deceased had been missing for nearly a week. The recent disturbed political outlook had played on his mind.
