BITTER CAMPAIGN
LEADS TO TO-MORROW’S VOTE. [United Press Association.—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright. 1 NEW YORK, November 1.
Across the breadth of the nation what is racked by political dissension, the party captains on Saturday sounded U final rallying call to the millions of voters who choose the new Congress and Governors in thirty States. Tuesday’s general election is hearting the Democrats, who see widespread dissatisfaction with the Hoover administration on the score of the business depression, prohibition, tariff, from relief and other issues. The Democrats have reiterated their predictions, and said their unrelenting attack meant Democratic house of representatives. The Republicans, while acknowledging some losses, are likely to claim tile situation is swinging hack in their favour.
The campaign was even featured by mounting bitterness, and a barrage of strong words. Neutral observers, however, believe the personalities of the individual candidates ifi many sections' will play a prominent part, rather than party or platform.
