KINGSFORD SMITH’S FATHER
(Received this day at 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 3.
A three l engined monoplane similar to the Southern Cross, and piloted by Kingsford Smith will serve as a funeral bier to-morrow for the. cremated body of Kingsford Smith’s father who died last night. The funeral obsequies will be unique in Australia.
Kings ford Smith will pilot the family over the sea to scatter the ashes of his father.

CANBERRA, Nov. 3
Customs revenue in the Commonwealth for four months of the present financial year is less by £4,859,749 than that received for the corresponding period of 1929. The revenue is £3,003,752 less than the estimate of £13,233,333 sterling.
