AN EARTHQUAKE
DISASTER IN ITALY. FIFTY PERSONS DEAD. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this dav at 12 noon)., ROME, Oct. 30. Fifty are dead and several hundred injured in a disastrous earthquake in eastern Italy, including Trieste, Padua, and Florence. The centre of the disturbance is the little port of Sinigaglia in the Adriatic where twenty bodies were recovered from wrecked houses. Several are dead at Ancona, where there is serious damage. Mount Vesuvius is active, and belching smoke and ashes.
