BRITISH AEROPLANE

LARGE GREEK ORDER

(Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, October 23

The newly formed Greek Air Ministry have placed with the Fairey Aviation Company one of the largest orders for British service aircraft ever placed by a foreign Government. The machines ordered are Fairey HI biplanes. They are capable of high speed, and may be quickly converted from land aeroplanes into seaplanes. The type is identical with the general purpose machines used by the Royal Ai’r Force, and in which both the Prince of Wales and the Prime Minister often travel. They are also used for the annual Cape to Cairo formation flight made by the Royal Air Force for demonstration and training purposes.
