MELBOURNE, October 23. iThe police raided the Communists’ premises to-day, and they made twenty arrests. ■ The police also seized a number of loaded batons and cartridges and a quantity of Soviet propaganda. The police alleged that the Communists are mingling with the unemployed and are inciting them to violence.

Fifteen loaded batons were secreted in boxes of sawdust.
