The Education Minister, Sir Charles Trevelyon, informed a deputation 1,0day that the Government hoped that a new Education Bill will be ciirrried this year. Regarding the proposed ex tent ion of the school age by one year to 15 years, for which the Bill provides, Sir C. Trevelyan said that this would serve to free perhaps half a million children from industry, and would substitute perhaps 150,(XX) older people. Parliament, he thought, should he glad to spend on education wlint it now spent on unemployment relief. , : Y
