Sir Guy Stevenson for thirty-two years Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions, died in London, last night at the age of sixty-five years. NEW AWARDS ESTABLISHED,

A Royal Warrant lias been issued instituting • a new decoration and a medal for award to officers and other ranks of the Territorial Army and auxiliary military forces throughout the Empire,. in which the service rendered is of voluntary or part-time character. They are to he known ns the Efficiency Decoration and the Efficiency Medal. Another Royal Warrant provides for the grant of a long service and goof conduct medal, similar to the existing one. under standard conditions, fcr soldiers of all permanent military forces throughout the Empire.
