ARAHURA SALE. At the above fixture yesterday there was a good attendance of buyers and a medium entry, of cattle and sheep for which the competition was spirited. Best ox beef made to 46s per hundred prime medium weights to 47s 6d. Prime heifers from 45s to 48s, and cow beef from 37s fid to 42s according to quality. There was rather too ’ much of the latter class of beef for butchers requirements. Sheep sold up to late rates. W. Jeffries and Co’s, entry comprised 15 wethers, 80 ewes and 51 cattle which sold as under: For H. Reynolds 15 fat wethers at 27s 9(1. For Ferguson Bros. 60 fat ewes at 235, 20 ewes at 225. For C. and L.
