The unlawful conversion of nine motor-cars and two motor-cycles, of a total value of £2OOO, brought two youths, 16 and 17 years of age, to the Court ibis' morning. They pleaded guilty,, and were sentenced to three years at the Borstal. The,-Magistrate , said that if he had the power he would order a .thrashing. The police said that on most occasions the converted car s were driven to the seaside. A third boy, who was charged with the others with converting three of the cars, was discharged.
