The weather was fine and course in good order for the third round this morning of the ladies Dominion golf dli a ntp i n nsl ii p Resu.i f«: — Mils Collins beat Mrs Williams, ? up; Mrs Spiers beat Miss Payton, 2 and 1 ; Miss Kay beat Miss Chrystall. !\ and fi; Miss Gaisford heat M'l’s Lasoelles, 6 and 5; Miss Petrie beat Mrs Orbell, 2 up; Mrs Hoskins bent M iss Phnrnzyn, 3 and 2: Miss Lo'-igh-lan ibe&t Miss Ward. 2 and 1 ; Miss Barnett beat Mns Dodashun, 2 and 1. The defeat of the holder by Miss Barnett, a comparatively young player was partly due to Mrs Dodmshun not playing some of her second shots as well as usual. She was able to hole her aporoach at the second and sixteenth holes, hut had had hick to be stymied at the seventeenth. M'jss Barnett out-drove her throughout tile game and approached remarkably well.
