COAL DUMPING. EMBARGO AGAINST RUSSIA. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) OTTAWA, October 13. The Canadian, importers of Russian coal has informed the Dominion Government that such importations, with the exception of the cargoes now afloat, will cease for the fall and winter months. The Acting-Premier, Sir George Perley, announced that if the undertakings of the importers are not fulfilled, action under the Dumping Clause of the Customs Act would be taken to prevent any further unloading of Russian coal.

Six were permitted to land and four others cases are pending. The men state they left before the beginning of the Canadian regulations became known in the Antipodes. They have been ruled as ineligible, a,s workers looking for jobs in trades which are already suffering through unemployment here.
