The British United Press correspondent at Barcelona reports an ugly incident at the University. Four hundred students in a quadrangle alter listening to inflammatory and monarchical speeches, broke down a door, and destroyed the furniture and paintings. They carried out King Alfonso’s portrait in oils and burned it in the street. The police placed a cordon round the area. The Rector lias closed the university indefinitely.
