SECOND DAY RESULTS

DUNEDIN. October 13
The Dunedin Races were concluded in threatening weather and poor attendance. The track showed an improvement. Hurdles:— (1) Hard Prince 1; (Anderson) ] ; (3) Gav Fashion 2; (2) Membo 3. All started. Won by a neck, six lengths. Time '2.54' 4-5. Kaikorai Handicap :—(7) Water Power (Hughes) 1; (4) Some Toff. 2; (2) Balance 3. All started. Won by a length and a half, two lengths. Time 1.47 4-5.
Shorts Handicap:—(l) Waving Corn (Mackie) 1 ; (3) On Top 2; (2) Caterpillar 3. Scr : Charmaine. Won by a length and a-half each way. Time 1.18 1-5.
