ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of members of the Hokitika Poultry Society, was held in the Public Library on Tuesday evening the 7th Mr J. C. Taylor being in the Chair. There were also niresent: Messrs R. Herring, W. Hall, J. ; J. Morgan, P. Diedricli, W. E. Richards, Mrs H. T. Parry, E. C. Toohey, R. Little and Secretary. An apology was received on behalf of ‘Messrs T. Lynch and F. Groufsky. '■ The audited balance sheet showed a credit balance, of £ll 4s lOd was read and approved. A vote yof thanks was passed to the citizens who liberally gave donations to the Society. , The Election of Officers, resulted as follows: Patron, D. J. Evans Esp.; President, J. J.
