Nov., 1923, was much criticised. He published in 1924 some likely sketches of contemporary statesmen. He . joined Mr Baldwin’s Cabinet as Sec, for India, Nov.. : 1924. Published “Fourteen English Judges,” and “Famous Trials” 1926, and “Law Life, and Letters’’ in 1927.
