STOCK- EXCHANGE FAILURE
..NEW YORK, September 31
The failure of the Stock Exchange ■firm of J. A. Sislo and company to-day brought, about a terrific drive on both the curb and stock exchange resulting in a -serious price reduction in a large list : of stocks one to eight points losses being registered. This failure is the first to have occurred with n stock exchange firm since last Autumn’s depression.
