WINNER IN TATTS
YOUNG HAMILTON MAN. By Telegraph—Per Press Association. HAMILTON, September 23. Mr Cyril John Lowry, a young Hamilton resident, has received an intimation to-dav that- he has won £1.500 in Tattorsalls. Lowry drew Gay Crest, which ran second to Paquito at Randwick on September 13th. Gay Crest was beaten bv a short head only. Had Gay Crest won, Lowry would have token the first prize of £SOOO. Air AlcColl, an ex-Hamiltonian, won the Rugby Art Union of £2OOO a short time ago.
