ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE.
Yesterday’s sale at the above yards was well attended and the entry - of sheep and cattle being a particularly good one for quality competition was brisk and a good sale was recorded. W. Jeffries and Co’s. entry comprised 54 fat sheep and 60 cattle and 10 vealers. The following sales being recorded. ‘

Messrs M. Houston' and/Co. report: At yesterdays sale at the' above yards our entry consisted‘of 50 fat sheep, 46 head of fat cattle /and :$ weaner pigs, which were submitted*to*'a good attendance of buyers. Owing to-’, the much larger yarding of cattle fit: the sale, prices were down about 30s per head on - those of the: previous "fixture; the sale was nevertheless; fi.'very good one and com petition was j lceeh throughout. Good ox and heifer beef averaged 48s per 100 and cow beef from 40s to 455. Fat sheep realized very satisfactory prices. . * • , We' sold as follows—For F. G.
