Official:— The names chosen for the Duke and Due-lies sof York’s infant daughter are Margaret Rose, She will he christened in the private chapel at Buckingham Palace in October.l Margaret is an old Scottish Royal name and is a pleasant reminder that the little Princess its a -daughter of Scotland. It is also a family name of the Strathmores for five centuries. One of the Duchess’ own parties is Vammt (Marguerite) while Bose is the name of the Duchess’ beautiful sister Lady Rose LevensonGower, one of the first visitors to see the baby.

It is expected that the Prince of Wales will be one af the Godfathers.
