Dunedin Waterworks and Sewerage Amendment Bill and Waipu County Council Empowering Bill were put through their final stages and passed. The Council rose at 2.40 p.m. THE HOUSE. In the House of Representatives, tlie private bill, Managers of St. Paul’s Presbyterian (Oamaru) Bill was read a third time and passed. Local Legislation Bill and reserves and other lands disposal bill were introduced by "Governor-General's message and read a first time. A motion to commit Nurses and Midwives Registration Amendment Bill (Hpn. Stallworthy) was, after a lengthy ■debate adopted by 56 to 14. The House rose at midnight.
