The President of the Britj’Sh Board of Trade, .Mr Graham, in a " conference with newspapermen, '•• especially those representing 'the Dominions, expressed the opinion that -tlie'Tariff Convention proposed in Europe would not prejudice the Imperial Conference discussion, which would include any proposals, whether for tariffs or preferentes. If any change of policy were approved, there would lie ample opportunity for Britain to withdraw from the Tariff truce before the next Budget.
