ALLEGATIONS AT TRIAL. [United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, September 13. During the trial of Erzinkian, exSoviet commercial representative, on a charge 'of issuing spurious bills, at--' cused’s counsel produced a remarkable declaration signed by eight ex-Sovier representatives abroard, including M. Bessedovsky and M.‘ Dmitrievsky, say. ; > the Helsingfors correspondent of “The Times.”
The declaration, which was in favoui of Erzinkian, stated that Soviet Legations and trade delegations haa secret chancelleries controlled by the Cheka, where all the secret accounts were kept. They were kept secret from other officials.
M. Dmitrievsky, ex-Councillor at tlie Soviet Legation at Stockholm, stated that the Cheka annually spends 600,00) marks for secret purposes in Finland, and the Communist international' spends several million. The Cheka pay special attention to' Finland, because it is considered to be one of the countries which will shortly he .ripe, for a revolution. •
It is alleged that the Soviet Legations at Berlin and Stockholm, have purchased arms for Finnish Communists. / , . . ~ ,
