A shrivelled, blackened body was discovered dangling from a high tension cable on the Pnris-Orleans railway, The victim proved to be a soldier named Simon Foi, for whom the police haa searched, owing to the murder of » taxi driver. Simon left a letter admitting the crime, and then climbed the pole preferring electrocution to the guillotine.
