Ky Telegraph—Per Press,AjsspciatiquA : ‘':: WELLINGTON, 9, General dissatisfaction with He provisions of the Unemployment Bill was expressed by a deputation representing the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union, which waited on Air Ransom and Air Smith to-day. It. requested that waterside workers should either he exempted from the provisions of the Bill or that- some proposal should be included that would enable waterside workers to benefit. The Minister of Labour (Mr Smith) said there was already provision to meet the case of wat-ersiders. but in order to make the position doubly sure, he would again discuss the position with Mr Ransom, and the Crown Law Office.
