The whaler Isbjoeril, conveying newspaper men to White Island reports the discovery of Andree’s camp in which were part cf a skeleton, bejieevd to be remains of Fraenkel, the third member of the expedition, also Fraenkel’s notebooks, scientific instruments and pieces of the gondola of the balloon. The camp was apparently in excellent order suggesting some swift catastrophe, such as a blizzard, caused the death of the explorers. MR CHURCHILL’S SPEECHES. LONDON, September 6. The most talkative member of the House of Commons is Mr Winston Churchill. A statistical record of the number of columns spoken on the Front Bench in the House of Commons reveals that Mr Churchill heads the list with 336 columns. Mr Graham, tlie President of the Board of Trade, fills 329 columns while Sir P. Cunliffe Lister (Conservative) is third with 286 columns. STAKE WINNING RECORD. A new world’s stake winning record was made at Belmont Park by Gallant Fox. which regained the three year old championship, by winning the Realisation Stakes worth £6OOO and bringing bis total to £63,500. a thousand in excess of Zcv’s earnings.
