For the New Brighton Trotting Club’s spring meeting, the weather was showery. The attendance was fair. The course was in good order, but slow. The tote investments were £18,3.34), compared with £25,786) last year.

Improvers’ Handicap:— (1) Iwanta 1; (8) Silurian 2; (21) Belle Heathei 3. Won by two lengths; three lengths. Time 3.53.

Belfast Handicap:— (7) Millie de Uro 1; (1) Llewellyn 2; (6) Silver Sea 3. Won by a head; three lengths. Time 3.32 2-5.

Biurwood Handicap:— (11 Regai Voyage 1; (5) Baynut 2 ; (2) Proud Diilion 3, Won bv a length; 7mlf a length. Time 4.44 1-5. Seaview Handicap:— (2) Tenedoes 1; (1) Sodium 2; (8) Erin’s Lynn . Won by,four lengths; two lengths. Time 2.54 2-5.

Autumn Handicap:— (6) Midland 1; (7) Young Carbine 2; (101 Repute 3. Won by a neck; two lengths. Time 4.50.
