RUGBY BROADCASTS. AFFECT ATTENDANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTONS Sept. 3. “Chickens coming home'to roost,” was the lomment made by Air Ei. Wylie, at to-night’s meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union when u letter was received from one of the country unions complaining of the effect that the wireless broadcasting of Rugby matches was having on its gatetakings. Country unions, Air Wylie said bad been among those to support the win less broadcasting of matches. He moved that the whole question should he referred to the annual meeting for discussion, and this course was adopted.

MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY

WELLINGTON, Sept. 3.

Identified by her husband at 2 a.m. -to-day. the woman who was killed in the . motor cycle accident at Heretaunga last night, was Airs Cecily Mabel Grigg, of Heretaunga. She leaves two young children. Airs Grigg left her home shortly before the accident occurred, saying she was going to visit friends. Her husband is unable to explain how she came to he a passenger on tiie motor cycle driven by Banks, whom they both knew. It was suggested that she had missed a bus, and had been offered a lift. He heard of the disaster after midnight, and came in by car to Wellington, where lie identified the body as that of his wife.
