FRISCO’S WELCOME
TO THE VENTURA. [United Press Association. —By, Eleetne Telegraph.—Copyright.] SAN FRANCISCO, September 2. The Ventura, carrying ninety-one of tlije Tahiti passengers, arrived here amid a tumultuous welcome. Aeroplanes escorted the Ventura through the Golden Gate, dropping flowers on her deck. At the quarantine, the Official Committee boarded the vessel, and presented, on behalf of San Francisco, to Captain Meyer, a .scroll testifying to the brilliant rescue.
