[United Presß Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright.) . , OTTAWA, Aug. 30. , At Toronto on Saturday, at the' Canadian National Exhibition meet, in the twelve miles Alodiheld Marathon, Arnold Webster (Hamilton) came first, Savidan (New Zealand) led most of way going to the front at the onethird mark. Webster came from behind at the last half mile, to beat bavidan by fifty yards. His time was one hour nine minutes thirty-two and three-fifth seconds.

The hundred yards resulted: —Simpson (United States) 1, Tolan (United* States) 2, Elliott (New Zealand) 3. Time 9 7-10 secs.

Special Invitation 120yds. Hurdles— Johnny Alorriss (United States) 1, Lord Burghley (England) 2. Lord Burghley was disqualified for knocking down three hurdles, and Arthur Ravendale (of Cobourg, Ontario) was placed second. The time was 14 740 secs.

Four hundred and forty yards open raceGoulding (Australia) 1, Pomeroy (Los Angeles) 2, Buscombe (Australia) 3. Time 47 9-10 secs.
