A German competitor, Lusser, was first to arrive at Zittorio Aerodrome at Rome on the last lap of the International air race. Miss Spooner was 'second, ninety seconds later. Donati (Italy) was third. Crowds gave an ovation to Sponer for the fastest time from Tunis to Rome, gaining 16£ minutes on Lusser.
