CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 27
1). Sutherland, a member of the Tliistle. Football Club was suspended for six months, following an inquiry held by the mangement committee of the Canterbury Football Association last night into an incident that led to his being ordered off the field in a match against. Western last Saturday.
Other incidents mentioned during the discussion were a player kicking an opponent on the ground, fighting between two players at half time and a player being struck across the face bv a woman when be was leaving English Park last Saturday. 'ln these cases it was decided to write to the Clubs concerned drawing their attention to the matter.
