THE PRIME MINISTER

SAILS FOR LONDON

[By Telegraph, Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 20. A small party of unemployed waving a hostile banner and indulging m cat calls, took part in the farewell to Mr Fores at the wharf at 11.30 a.m. today, but the Prime Minister was unperturbed, and he waved to his friends and foes alike as he stood on the gangway with Mrs Forbes till they were joined by Sir Thomas and Lady/ Sidey. Previously Mr Forbes and party were accorded a civic farewell at the Town Hall, Mr Forbes in reply stating it would be his first visit to England, and one subject of great importance to the Conference, was the matter of Empire trade. If something could be done.to foster that, it might go a long way to help to hold the Empire together.
