HOKITIKA GOLF CLUB.

The postponed Beare Bowl bogey match will be played on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd.

At. a general meeting of the Ladies’ Golf Club in the County Office on Monday, August 18th. a c-onnnittee was formed to arrange for the entertainment of visiting golfers during tournament week, and Mrs Wm. Wilson was elected captain to fill the vacancy caused hv Airs Neville’s resignation.

The ladies’ entertainment committee will be “at home” to all golfers on Wednesday evening at the residence of Mrs Wm. Wilson Cards, music and dancing, 8 o’clock. The Club is entertaining visiting competitors at a dance to be held in the Soldiers' Hall on Friday, Aug. 29th. Tickets are available to nil other golfers and their friends at the office of the Secretaries, Hamilton St.
