(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, August 19. Brought bacek from Sydney under arrest, D. Thomas, a farmer, was charged on six counts at the Supreme Court to-day with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act. It was alleged that "he quitted New Zealand with part ol his property, proceeds of the sale of his farm ; that he did not disclose the whole of his property, and that he put one of his creditors to needless expense by a frivolous defence to a claim for £2lO. The hearing will lie continued to-morrow".
