SUPERANNUATION

PUBLIC SERVICE FUND. ;By Telegraph- Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 18. The quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board was held to-day. Twenty-nine contributors retired by reason of age or length of service and were granted allowances of a total of £6,110 per annum. Eleven contributors retired as medically unfit, and were granted allowances totalling £9lO per annum. Sixteen widows and twenty children were granted statutory allowances amounting to £lOl6 per annum.
