MR SOULLIN ILL(Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 8 a.m.l MELBOURNE, Aug. 18. The Prime Minister, Mr SouJlin, was unable owing to sudden illness, to attend the vital Premiers Conference and Loan Council, negotiations opening in the presence of Sir Otto Niemeyer to-day. He issued an appeal to the Australians to demonstrate the qualities of true companionship in the hour of difficulty and at once begin the task of working out their own salvation. He outlined ,a, .number of .problems whereto to apply himself at the Imperial Conference. . . Mr Scullin and Mr Barker Maloney (Minister of Markets) sail by the Orama from, Fremantle on August 25th for London.
