FLOATING DOCK
FOR WELLINGTON HARBOUR. (By Telegraph--Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 15. A contract for Wellington’s floating dock has been placed with Swan Hunter Wigham and Richardson, builders of the Singapore dock. it will be 510 feet long, 117 feet broad, with a lifting capacity of seventeen thousand tons. Tlie towage to New Zealand will constitute the largest dock tow on record.
